Industry Veteran Joins Proficio’s Sales Management Team
London/Barcelona – March 26, 2020 – Proficio, a managed security services provider (MSSP) delivering managed detection and response (MDR), today announced that Chris Jenkins has been appointed Director of Sales for the UK and Ireland. As a seasoned cybersecurity executive, Jenkins will be responsible for continuing to grow Proficio’s client base in key European markets.
Jenkins comes to Proficio with an impressive track record of growing cybersecurity businesses and leading sales and marketing teams. He has received numerous awards, such as the Best EMEA Partner for Palo Alto Networks, and the Fortinet “FortiHero” award, as was recently the Keynote Speaker for Cisco Connect in Portugal. Before Proficio, Jenkins was Global Head of Security Sales for Telstra, which is one of the largest telecom companies in the world. While at Telstra, Jenkins successfully grew Telstra’s security business in Europe before assuming responsibility for global sales operations, excluding Australia.
